Diet tips for busy parents

I love my children…

I really do…

Now, with that being said - My two kids can really drive me
nuts.

Are there times you feel the same way?

Emma, my 6 year old, is like the Tasmanian Devil. She never has any downtime. She can run around all day long and she never gets tired.

Alina, my 12 year old daughter, keeps me busy. She has school events, band practice and a traveling basketball team that takes us all over the state.

Sometimes I feel like I'm only a taxis service.

How many of you can relate?

Here is a tip that I hope will have your life healthier and easier.

Tip: Always go to the grocery store on a full stomach. If you are starving, junk food looks really good at the time.

You will get home only to find that your 45 minutes at the grocery store was wasted on purchasing high sugar snacks and nothing to make nutritious meals. You will be amazed at the healthy choices you make when you don't have low blood sugar.

It's a busy world but with a little planning you and your kids can still eat healthy.
