There is a new diet drug in the pipeline.

(Breaking news)

Wouldn't it be great to just take a pill to lose weight.

Well there is a new diet pill called rimonabant (Acomplia)
being tested right now. The pill, still in early clinical trials and
awaiting FDA approval, "shows promise for curbing appetite".

This is going to be sweet!

We can eat junk all day and just pop a pill to lose weight. We
can get a beach body in a bottle.

We won't have to worry about the damage we are doing inside
our bodies from all the junk we are eating. Last time I checked
someone can't see heart disease, hypertension, or diabetes at
the beach.

Lets all plan to meet at the beach once rimonabant (Acomplia)
is approved.

One last thing........

We will have to figure out how to deal with all the "Small side effects"
like nausea, dizziness, irritability and depression.

We will look good... until we pass out or throw up.

Don't ever use the word "diet" again!

Don't ever use the word "diet" again! Yes, I even
used it in the title of this blog but that was because
"dieting" is a word people understand. Everyone has
"been on a diet" or even "tried every diet in the world".

The problem is that the word "diet" also means failure
and temporary.

How many diets have you been on?

How many of these diets worked?

I don't mean temporarily. I mean how many took weight
off and gave you the tools and knowledge to keep the weight
off long term?

I'm guessing the answer is none.

Next time I will talk about why diets are setting you
up for failure and why up too 25% of all Americans are on
a diet at any given time.

Talk to you soon,

Could weight loss be as easy as one step?

If you could do just one thing and lose
weight would you do it?

Of course you would.

We spend billions of dollars every year
to lose weight and spend countless hours
thinking about food, worrying about what
we eat, stressing about each and every thing
we put in our mouths.

I am about to tell you one of the single biggest tips
that will help you loss weight. If you do this simple
step then you will be ahead of 99% of everyone else
wanting to lose weight.

Main Rule #1:
Write down each and every food that you eat for
an entire 3 weeks. Write down the calories and
then your total calories each day.

Most people have no idea what they eat and how much
they eat everyday. How can you expect to lose weight
if you don't know what you are eating.

Weight loss is simple - Burn more calories than you take in.

Most people also eat 25% to 30% more than they think
they are eating.

Before you start this little exercise, guess how many calories
you think you are currently eating.

You should also do the full 3 weeks because anyone can be
good for a day or two. By doing three weeks you will get
a more accurate picture of what you are really eating.

Go ahead and do this and give me feedback.
I will be writing a book in the future and want to
feature the best stories and results.

So go ahead....... What do you have to lose?
